Homework September 29

I have assigned the students practice math homework tonight. They are to practice rounding numbers to the nearest ten, hundred, thousand (and ten thousand for grade 5 students). Please give students numbers for them to practice rounding to each of these places. If you would like to make it more enjoyable for the students you could have them create the number by rolling a die (we did this in class), or choose the digits to use from a hat, with each digit 0-9 written on a pice of paper. Students should practice for 10 - 20 minutes to build upon what they have been learning in class. Please refer to my previous post to see the 4 steps we have been using to round our numbers.
