Homework for Wednesday, Oct. 12

Students are asked to look around their house for examples of patterns. They may find them on curtains, furniture, boxes, books, toys, etc. Students are then asked to try to identify whether the patterns are repeating (such as a colour striped curtains would repeat the sequence of stripes) or growing or shrinking (such as a pattern of dots in a triangular shape, with each row of dots lessening as you go down, or growing in number as you go up). Most patterns will be repeating, but we would love to know about any growing and shrinking students find!
