March Break Homework

Students are asked to review their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division over the break. There will be a test on this information within two weeks following the break. Students have been asked to bring home their math textbooks and folders to practice during the break.

There is a writing assignment for students related to their break. Students are writing a persuasive letter to their classmates.

I have told the students that they should be writing ideas down about each day of their vacation or stay-cation near the end of each day, to create their brainstorm, so that it does not end up being a larger task at the end of the break. This should help them have lots of ideas ready at the end of the week.

As well, students have a new spelling list containing words with -ion endings.

Action
Union
Friction
Tension
Compression
Attraction
Addition
Subtraction
Division
Multiplication
Attention
Million
Billion
Calculation
Caution
Champion

Have a Fantastic March Break!
