Homework for Wednesday, December 7

For homework, the grade 4 students have been asked to review the names and locations of the provinces and territories of Canada. We have begun our first unit in Social Studies on the regions of Canada, and students will be expected to know the names of the provinces and territories and their locations on a map by the end of the unit.

For homework, the grade 5 students have been asked to review the difference between rights and responsibilities and how they are connected. They should talk about different rights they have in their lives and the responsibilities that go along with those rights. We have begun our first social studies unit on Canadian Government and students will be expected to show an understanding of how Canadian citizens have certain rights, but have responsibilities that go along with each right.
